Commercial Organization
Rima today is a productive reality able to provide ports and crane manufacturers all over the world with a wide range of high quality products and services.
Our head quarters is based in Italy. In the last years Rima was object of an organic growth establishing a network of agents and partners that covers 24 countries in Europe, Asia, Australia, North and South America.
Production
All products of Rima are tested one by one through several procedures before the delivery. Every need of assistance and spare parts is guaranteed by an efficient after-sales service network.
In more than thirty years of activity in the field of port equipment, Rima developed modern and reliable products devoted to crane safety. The most important family of Rima safety product is constituted by Storm brakes.
Timars Cargo handling equipment
The Timars container handling equipment is well known and appreciated tools. You find them spread all over the world and in operation in different climates. Timars port equipment is design and developed by our own engineers and protected by patent. Production and quality testing of all our products is made in our workshop in Falkenberg, Sweden.
Timars can offer two different types of container spreaders, Timars C-lift and Timars HTC. Both types of spreaders is semi-automatic. These can also be equipped with the popular Timars Gravity Centraliser for improving handling of unevenly loaded containers.
Timars can also offer two types of over-height spreaders for handling flats and oversized goods. Timars OHA is fully automatic and Timars OH is semi-automatic.
Timars lashing cage is a working cage for attachment to a regular spreader. A very safe and robust construction for the operators when lashing the vessels.
Timars can also offer tailor design equipment based on client application. During the years we made rotators, lifting tables, steel wire lifting tools etc.
NDC Cranes
At NDC International BV, cranes are our business. In fact, we make nothing else but cranes – overhead travelling cranes, gantry cranes, port cranes, slewing cranes and floating cranes. NDC International specialises in tailor-made equipment and every project is designed, manufactured and assembled by its own dedicated team. Furthermore, all electrical components of NDC cranes and equipment are engineered and manufactured in-house. Our experienced after-sales service team – qualified in both mechanical and electrical know-how – are also available to serve you.

Located in one of the most important metal-working centres in Europe, we are leaders in the manufacture of custom-made welded machined sheaves.
Our Research & Development + Innovation (R&D+I) department, with over 35 years experience and know-how in calculation methods, ensures the reliability and safety of the mechanical components in our product range which, also includes hook blocks and couplings.
