Installation of 100T Multi-Part Washdown Facility

We were employed by Schwarz of Germany to install a 100T multi-part wash down facility in Bristol. To achieve their goals we employed our own specialised rigging and machinery moving personnel to provide a full turnkey project.

This project provided us with many challenges and was achieved only by the use of our purpose-built 40 tonne gantry crane. This unit has wheeled bogies and several sections of beam lengths and heights to allow the movement of various configurations.

The pictures show the extent of various aspects of the project from initial offloading to the weaving of a crane boom through the numerous pipework services.

Seward Wyon were highly commended by the clients for the professional manner in which the project was managed.

Heathrow Radar – Gearing Replacement

We were contracted by the Civil Aviation Authority to regularly change gears/maintenance equipment within the housing of the main radar dish at Heathrow Airport and throughout the UK.

This project presented us with access problems for the crane boom, the use of offset flys clearly showing the expertise of our fully qualified CPCS Appointed Persons/Lift Supervisors and Banksmen.
