Seward Wyon’s on-site machining service is aimed at refurbishing pin jointed bores on all types of plant and machinery.

Using the latest machinery, worn bores ranging from 32mm diameter to 450mm diameter can be built up using computer controlled spiral MIG welding, and then re-bored to original specifications.

This is particularly useful in prolonging the service life of all types of cranes, excavators, dumper trucks, forklifts, telehandlers and many other types of plant.

In addition, Seward Wyon have a number of magnetic base drill units, which can secure themselves to any steelwork at any angle.

As with all Seward Wyon’s services, machining can be carried out at height and, where access is restricted, through the use of our highly experienced technicians.
