Seward Wyon has completed the full refurbishment of 3 Stothert & Pitt Dockside Cranes, for Mersey Docks and Harbour Company

	Replacement of damaged or corroded boom lacings.
	Replacement of ladders, platforms and damaged structural members.
	Replacement of electrical control systems and wiring.
	Relining and roofing of cab and machine house.
	Installation of safe load indicator systems.
	Overhaul of drives, gearboxes, brakes, hydraulic systems and travel bogies.
	Replacement of worn wire ropes, Retesting and certification.
	Repainting.

In addition many crane condition surveys have been carried out, both in the UK and overseas, some of which resulted in executing the work to bring the cranes up to an operating condition.
